A couple of us are looking at a casual swim on Sunday downtown at noon.
We had a great crowd last night of 19 swimmers, almost 4 in each lane! We managed to work around the lightning last night unlike Tuesday. Just a reminder, during the Summer don't forget your dry land workout clothes too as we get lots of lightning.
Also this weekend lots of people are swimming at Lucky's in the morning. Luckyslakeswim.com if you have never done it, it's 1K across and back and lots of fun!
Rumors from the block this week- Kristin from lane 1 got engaged!!! Alison and Mark are moving to Kentucky, and we are thinking of having a get together either later this month or early next month. Some swimmers are rubbing a dab of baby shampoo in their goggles before practice to cut down on the fog... Our next meet is July 26-27. That's it for now..... see everyone at the pool.
