We have more results in: Sean 200 Free 2nd, 100 Back 1st, 200 back 1st, 200IM 1st, 400IM 1st. 2nd place award in his age group. Kathleen- 100 Free 3rd, 200 Free 4th, 500 Free 5th, 50 Back 5th, 50 free 4th. Tom 50 Breast 6th, 100 Breast 6th, 200 Breast 3rd, 50 Fly 10th, 100IM 8th, And Steve attending his first Masters meet took 1st in the 100 Free and 1st in the 50 Fly in a very competative age group. Great job all swimmmers!!! There are also a few swimmers we met at the meet who will be joining our team and swimming for MOO, we can't wait to have you.

Baby Jack's 5 weeks old

The Jones family visited the pool on Saturday. Alison and Mark swam and Jack slept in his stroller and in a few laps. Alison will make her return to practice this week on Monday and Thursday, can't wait to see you at the pool!

Thursday Practice

Bruce's work trip in NY got extended and he will still be there on Thursday. He will e-mail a workout tomorrow, and we will still have practice. Bruce is still planning to go to St Pete on Saturday. See everyone at the pool.

Tonight we had 10 brave MOO members in the water. It was chilly outside, but the water was nice and warm. 12 swimmers jumped in the clear cool water on Tuesday for practice. We will see everyone Thursday, the last practice before St Pete

Mi completed her 100th crossing at Lucky's Lake Saturday and was joined by Kathleen, Yuko, and Diane. Looking forward to a great week at practice leading up to the St. Pete meet this weekend. 100th crossing

Mi will be making her 100th crossing at Lake Cane tomorrow morning. Hope to see everyone at Lucky's at 7:45 for the celebration.

Upcoming meets

We are gearing up for 2 meets.
The first is in St. Pete March 28-30. Registration is due March 18 and if you have not yet registered for MOO you need to do this ASAP. Late registrations will be accepted until Friday the 21st for an additonal $10

YMCA nationals is in Ft Lauderdale May 15-18. We would love to have everyone go and make a huge showing and set up some fun relays!!!

tornado watches and cold weather.

Brrr... it's cold outside, as demonstrated by our newest members hat! Well, the pool was closed b/c of the tornado warnings Tuesday, but I hope to see everyone tonight despite the cold weather. No laughing you Northerners, we still have to swim outside!

10 fingers 10 toes

Jack Aden Jones was born around 12:15 this morning-February 23rd.
He tipped the scales at 10 lbs 7 oz. And I thought he would weigh in at 8 lbs 12 oz =)
Because of his size, he was delivered by C Section.

Baby Jones

Mark and Alison were spotted in the pool Monday afternoon despite her being past her due date. Our youngest team member is scheduled for delivery Friday.

We had a great BBQ yesterday, the weather was sunny and we had lots of food and drinks and a great time. Here is a group photo during our garden tour. Much thanks to chef Fitz and Kathleen for Hosting the event!!!
